C2C Hardware is Earthquake-Proofed

On September 28, 2005, the C2C server was fitted with seismic isolation stands to let it float on the stands whenever moved, such as would occur in an earthquake.

Oracle Reception at Pepperdine University

On August 16, 2005, Oracle USA hosted a reception on the Drescher Graduate Campus of Pepperdine University to celebrate the relationship established when Pepperdine contracted with Oracle for PeopleSoft applications.  Invited guests from all schools included members of senior management and C2C project teams.

Representing Oracle was Randall Runk, Senior Vice President for North America Strategic Account Sales.  Speakers from Pepperdine University were President Andrew K. Benton, Vice President of Planning, Information and Technology, Nancy Magnusson Durham, Chief Information Officer, Hilary Baker, and Senior Director of the C2C Project, Chris Xanthos.
