C2C Student Admin Classes



SA C2C: Academic Advising
is an INVITE ONLY class for all University staff involved with the academic advisement process and features the following instruction: 
  • Assigning Advisors to Students
  • Searching for a Class
  • Releasing an Advising Hold
  • Generating the Degree Audit Report

Note: Class attendance is required prior to access being granted to this component.  A PeopleSoft Student Administration security form may need to be submitted.


SA C2C: Comm from Query /Letter Gen is for all staff or faculty employees that are involved with creating communications from existing queries and running the Letter Generation process.  This class features the following instruction:

  • Setting up User Defaults for the appropriate administrative function
  • Assigning communications from an existing query
  • Creating the output file from the Letter Generation process
  • Demonstrating an introduction to Microsoft Word 2003 Mail Merge process


SA C2C: Enrollment is an INVITE ONLY class for all University staff involved with the student enrollment process and features the following instruction:

  • Managing Waitlists
  • Quick Enrolling a Student
  • Defining Class Permissions
  • Processing Withdrawals and Cancellations
  • Maintaining a Student’s Academic Program

Note: Class attendance is required prior to access being granted to this component.  A PeopleSoft Student Administration security form may need to be submitted.


SA C2C: Introduction to Recruitment & Admissions is for all University employees involved with creating or viewing records for prospective students and features the following: 

  • Introduction to the new University administrative system
  • General overview of navigation within the system
  • New ‘Search/Match’ lookup functionality
  • Basic process of adding a new prospect to the system

Note: This class is available to all faculty and staff that have little to no exposure of C2C or any PeopleSoft based applications


SA C2C: Program / Plan & Term Processing is an INVITE ONLY class for all University staff involved with the Term Processing & Program / Plan processes, and features the following instruction: 

  • Adding to or Changing a Student’s Program
  • Adding to or Changing a Student’s Plan & Sub-Plan
  • Quickly Activating a Student for the Term
  • Assigning Appointment Times to Individual Students

Note: Class attendance is required prior to access being granted to this component.  A PeopleSoft Student Administration security form may need to be submitted.


SA C2C: Schedule of Classes is an INVITE ONLY class for all University staff involved with any of the Schedule of Classes processes, and features the following instruction:

  • Creating New Classes
  • Creating Combined Class Sections
  • Maintaining & Updating Class Information
  • Searching for Classes in the Catalog
  • Printing the Class Schedule
  • Searching for an Available Facility

Note: Class attendance is required prior to access being granted to this component.  A PeopleSoft Student Administration security form may need to be submitted.

SA C2C: Word 2003 Mail Merge is for all staff or faculty employees interested in using the data file from the Letter Generation process in a Word 2003 Mail Merge File.  This class features the following instruction:

  • Understanding the Letter Generation output file
  • Creating Word Mail Merge templates
  • Using the Mail Merge wizard to create letters and emails
  • Creating basic conditional statements within the template


C2C HR Classes



HR C2C: How to Hire a Student
is for all staff or faculty employees that are involved with the student hire process, and features the following instruction:
  • Searching and selecting student for hire
  • Verifying eligibility for student employment
  • Entering student employment information
  • Hiring a student worker to the department for which the staff or faculty member is an employee

Note: Training for this application is required for staff or faculty that are involved with the student hire process.  Access to this component is only given once training has been completed and an HR Confidentiality form is submitted to the Student Employment office. 


C2C Finance Courses


Finance C2C: Credit Card Reallocation is for all employees with a University Purchasing and/or Travel and Entertainment credit card and features the following:

  • Reallocating monthly expenses
  • Updating multiple transactions
  • Viewing credit card activity
  • Reviewing business processes and timeframes

Note: This class is required for employees with a University Purchasing and/or Travel and Entertainment credit card.


Finance C2C: Q&A is for all requestors and approvers within the finance system and features the following:
Representatives from Purchasing, Budget, Accounts Payable, and C2C Finance will be on hand to answer your questions about business processes or technical features of the C2C system. 
This is the chance for you to get answers about C2C Finance issues that affect your department.
Finance Query Training is for all requestors and approvers within the finance system and features the following instruction:

  • Definition of queries
  • How to select and run a query
  • How to download the query output to Excel
  • How to run popular queries on: Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Accounting Transactions, and more...


Finance C2C: My Work Town Hall (Finance) is for all requestors and approvers within the finance system and features instruction on the following:

  • Getting information out of the finance system
  • Best Practices re: creating and approving requisitions
  • Finding: Requisitions, PO’s, and Payment information
  • Budget: How can I look at budget?
  • Chartfields: How can I look up Chartfields?
  • Finance news and Updates Pagelet


Finance C2C: Requestor & Approver is for all employees designated as requestors or approvers in the finance system and features the following:

  • Process of approving and creating requisition requests for purchases and employee reimbursements (expenses)
  • Creation of a requisition along with specific policies and procedures
  • Approving the created requisitions
  • Importance of being able to interpret all the information on a requisition

Note: This class is required for any employees whose job responsibilities include any type of purchasing or approving requests for purchases.  Access to this component is provided only once the entire training class has been officially completed.


Finance C2C: Simpler Budget Reporting is for all employees involved with creating or viewing departmental budgets and features the following:

  • Easy-to-use ‘Simpler Systems’ budget reporting 
  • Intro to fun Excel tips & tricks which tie into the basics of creating reports in the ‘Simpler’ system
  • Creating, sharing and printing reports in ‘Simpler’

Note: Class attendance is required prior to access being granted to this component.  A PeopleSoft Financial security form may need to be submitted if necessary.

C2C: Query Viewer / Microsoft Excel 2003 Fundamentals is for all staff or faculty employees that are involved running existing queries and interested in customizing the data in Excel 2003.  This class features the following instruction:

  • Viewing / Downloading Queries in HTML and Excel
