Microsoft Entourage for Macintosh Information

Configuring Entourage for POP Protocol

1. Open Entourage.
2. From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
3. On the Mail tab, click New.
   
   
   
4. In the Account Setup Assistant window, click Configure account manually.
   
   
    
5. In the New Account window, select POP from the Account type list; then click OK.
   
   
   
6. In the Edit Account window, Account Settings tab, enter your information as shown on the following image.
   
   Please note this difference in entering information:
   -  pepperdine\username (for faculty/staff)
   -  student\username (for students)
   
   
    
7. In the Edit Account window, click the Click here for advanced receiving options button; and enter your information as shown on the following image.
   
   
   
8. In the Edit Account window, click the Click here for advanced sending options button; and enter your information as shown on the following image.
   
   
    
9. In the Edit Account window, click OK.
