Field Support Personnel Working on a Computer

Information Technology has an Anytime Support group that provides the following services for University-owned computing equipment:

  • hardware setup and troubleshooting
  • software installation and troubleshooting

Anytime Support will troubleshoot and facilitate repair of University-owned computing equipment that is still under warranty.

Is your computer running more slowly than you think it ought to?

Anytime Support will troubleshoot University-owned computing equipment that is out of warranty; and advise on replacement or repair.  If Anytime Support determines the equipment is not worth the cost of repair, they will recommend the department purchase new equipment.  Departments are responsible for equipment repair from a company of their choice; and are invited to choose from this list of computer service and repair companies in close proximity to the Malibu Campus.

Employees that need assistance with University-owned computing equipment in use at their University condominium may bring the equipment to the Anytime Support department in TAC180, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; or may take the equipment to their University department office where Anytime Support will look at it.
