The first time you use MacMail, the following window will appear. Enter your information as shown on the following image; then click OK.
Please note this difference in entering information: - pepperdine\username (for faculty/staff) - student\username (for students)
Click Continue (twice) to proceed past the following and another Error screen.
Decide whether or not to import mailboxes from another e-mail program. For these instructions, click No.
From the Mail menu, choose Preferences; select Accounts across the top of the window; select the Account Information tab; be sure your e-mail account is lighlighted in the left Accounts column; then enter your information as shown on the following image.
In the above Accounts window, click the Server Settings... button; enter your information as shown on the following image; then click OK.
Back in the Accounts window, select the Advanced tab; enter your information as shown on the following image; then close the window to save your information.
