Mozilla Thunderbird E-mail Information
Configuring Thunderbird POP Protocol for Windows
- Open Thunderbird.
- To set up an e-mail account in Thunderbird, from the Tools menu select Account Settings; choose Email account; then click Next.

- In the Identity window, enter your information as shown on the following image; then click Next.

- In the Server Information window, enter the information as shown on the following image; then click Next.

- In the User Names window, enter your information as shown on the following image; then click Next.
Please note this difference in entering information:
- pepperdine\username (for faculty/staff)
- student\username (for students)

- In the Account Name window, enter your information as shown on the following image; then click Next.

- In the Congratulations window, verify that all information is correct; then click Finish.

- From the Tools menu, select Account Settings. Select Server Settings in the left-hand list under the new e-mail account you just set up. Enter your information as shown on the following image.
Please note this difference in entering information:
- pepperdine\username (for faculty/staff)
- student\username (for students)

- From the same Account Settings window, select Outgoing Server in the left-hand list; then click the Edit button.

- In the SMTP Server window, enter your information as shown on the following image; then click OK as many times as necessary to exit the account setup area.
