Problems Running Web Mail using Various Browsers

If you get a blank Web page or an authorization error when trying to log into Web mail using any Web browser, the problem may be that your "cookies" setting is not correct.  See these instructions for enabling cookies.

If your cookies setting is correct, your computer system might contain file sharing software that is keeping it from functioning properly.  After removing software (such as CommonName, eAnthology, and iMesh), shut down and restart your computer.

If you attempt to reply to an e-mail message in Web mail; but the window closes and nothing happens, it may be a pop-up blocker that is preventing e-mail replies.  You can temporarily turn off your Web browser's pop-up blocker or allow pop-ups for pepperdine.edu.  Some toolbars (like Google and Yahoo) often have built-in pop-up blockers that can be disabled if you still cannot reply to messages using Web mail.  Read more about pop-up blockers.

If you still cannot run Web mail, make note of other methods of e-mail access you have tried (Outlook, Outlook Express).  Try accessing Web mail from a different computer.

If your attempts contiue to be unsuccessful, please contact the IT Help Desk.
