WaveNet Usernames Must be Entered in UPPERCASE Letters
Until otherwise notified, WaveNet login usernames must be entered in all UPPERCASE letters. Passwords are not affected. We are working with the vendor to correct this situation that was a result of recent maintenance performed on WaveNet. This issue does not affect usernames used for any systems other than WaveNet.

The following applications are unavailable every Sunday morning, from 12 midnight to 12 noon, while information is backed up.
Server Maintenance
To keep the Pepperdine network and associated computer systems up to date, one Saturday a month, as early as 12:00 midnight, Information Technology performs preventive maintenance on many centrally located computer systems. To minimize the impact, we perform the work outside normal business hours. The following details are available:

Telephone System Preventive Maintenance
Every Tuesday morning between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., IT will conduct a PBX switchover as part of our weekly PBX maintenance routines to test our backup systems and clean our storage drives. During this switchover, Malibu campus land line (not cellular) telephone users will lose dial tone for 1-3 minutes but will not be disconnected from an active call.
Good Technology Maintenance Affecting Handheld Devices
Every Saturday evening from 10:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time is reserved by Good Technology to perform upgrades or maintenance to their central equipment. During this maintenance period, Good message flow to and from your handheld device may be interrupted. Carrier provided data services like IM (instant messaging) and SMS (short message service or text messaging) will NOT be affected.
