EdInfo Analytics Team
Purpose
The EdInfo Analytics team is a partnership between the Office of Institutional Effectiveness
(OIE) and Information Technology (IT) to create a systematic and user-friendly interface
for Pepperdine's leaders to access data from PeopleSoft and legacy systems in order
to make evidence-based decisions for the University.
This purpose will be achieved through:
- Creating better and more consistent reporting to enhance university understanding
about enrollments, retention, and graduation rates.
- Disaggregating the data by demographic variables as well as GPA and program to observe
trends in correlations about student success.
- Making enrollment, retention, and graduation accessible through OIE's website.
Campus Technology Magazine awarded the
2011 Campus Technology Innovators Award to Information Technology
(IT) and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) for their collaboration
