In order to best serve the University community in executing space and facility modifications, a new process has been implemented for campus planning. The policy incorporates the function of the Campus Planning Group, a central committee through which all projects are reviewed and prioritized, and outlines the necessary steps for departments to initiate space and facility modification requests. Construction and Campus Planning has been designated lead department in executing these new procedures.
To help you to better understand this new process, please review the revised Facilities Modification and Project Initiation Policy, Campus Planning Group Process Outline, Process Initiation Flow Chart, and Project Request Form.
Please complete the Project Request Form for projects that entail: remodeling for change of use, configuration, or appearance; additions; partition reorganizations; and furniture purchases for public or common areas. Attach this form to a C2C online requisition form and send to Internal Vendor: Construction and Campus Planning. If you have any questions, please contact Alex Roosa, CCP Operations Manager, at extension 7275.
A minimum of two weeks lead time is required for CCP to initiate a feasibility review, including impact analysis, scope of work verification, an order-of-magnitude cost estimate, and recommendation prior to submission of the proposal to the Campus Planning Group for review.
