August 20, 2009. Attend workshops to learn how to engage your students and organize your course materials with online tools like Blackboard, Sakai, and Elluminate. Also learn how to use services such as Turnitin, which detects plagiarism and educates students about proper citation, and Anywhere Storage, which has the capacity to store large data sets, collaborative papers, and more.
From September 1 to October 9, Pepperdine IT's Technology and Learning group will offer a variety of free workshops for faculty and instructors. Whether you're just getting started with a course website, or you're ready to use more advanced services to host your office hours online, these trainings are designed to meet your needs as an instructor.

With the sponsorship of the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, the Chief Information Officer, and the Deans of the Schools of Pepperdine University, the Office of the Chief Information Officer has awarded the second round of internal grants that encourage and support faculty innovation in the field of e-Learning.
