Presentation Services is an Information Technology department that provides academic multimedia support to Pepperdine University faculty, staff, and students.

Requests and Confirmation
- Please submit an Audio-Visual Request Form to request equipment check-out, presentation assistance, or audio-visual consulting.
- Your request is not guaranteed until confirmed by Presentation Services via telephone or e-mail.
Equipment Check-out, Pickup, and Return
- Equipment check-out and return is done at Presentation Services, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by appointment only. (We are closed Wednesday mornings during the academic year.)
- Presentation Services is located in the basement of the Tyler Campus Center (TCC), directly below the Bookstore and next to the loading dock. To locate their office, you can take the TCC elevator down to the basement, or take the outside stairs which are located to the right of the TCC Bank of America ATM machine.
- Faculty and staff may check out equipment for southern California Pepperdine University campuses as long as equipment is available.
- University departments must approve equipment check-out for students, student organizations, and campus visitors.
- Forty-eight (48) hours notice is required for equipment check-out.
- Plan to pick up your equipment at least 30 minutes prior to your event.
Equipment Training, Setup, and Operation
- Equipment training is available in Presentation Services at or prior to check-out time.
- Equipment setup assistance is available for department requests only if staffing and time permit.
- Two weeks notice is required if you want us to provide staff to run equipment at your event.
- Equipment must remain on Pepperdine University property unless approved in advance by Presentation Services.
- Presentation Services does not provide nor sell audio or video tapes.
- Equipment is not for personal use.
Charges may be levied for:
- After-hours staffing (min. charges: weekdays – 2 hrs; weekends – 4 hrs)
- Damaged, lost, or stolen equipment while checked out
- Non-return of equipment within a specified timeframe
- Elkins Auditorium event setup and staffing
- Stauffer Chapel event setup and staffing
- Damage to Elkins Auditorium and Stauffer Chapel equipment and facilities
Your Responsibilities
- Notification of equipment problems to Presentation Services
- Responsibility by persons checking out (or approving check-out by students or visitors) of equipment that becomes damaged, lost, or stolen
- Contact of Special Programs Office to reserve Elkins Auditorium, Stauffer Chapel, or PLC125 facilities
- Responsibility of persons using Elkins Auditorium and Stauffer Chapel (or approving use by students or visitors) for the security and condition of the equipment and facilities
- Availability of requester/presenter 30 minutes prior to start of event for a test run and setup questions, if Presentation Services staffing is requested for Elkins Auditorium or Stauffer Chapel
- Contact of lab consultants or Seaver Technology Liaisons for classroom or computer lab equipment needs
- Contact of University Communications for media duplicating requests other than audio cassettes
